Meet Dr. David Padula

For 30 years, I have had the pleasure of helping people with their dental needs. These individuals have become an extension of my family and I value the time I spend with each.

Through the years, dentistry has allowed me to meet and help numerous people improve their lives. I am honored that some of the families who were part of the practice in 1991 are still coming here for care. It is satisfying to see generations of families: keeping up on the latest happenings, sharing the joys and sadness, and supporting one another is all part of my practice, and I am so grateful for these opportunities.

Padula Dental

Recognizing that people have choices when it comes to dental care, my staff and I are dedicated to caring for our patients the way we would wish to be treated: We treat each individual as a person, not a number.

My staff is incredible. We are a small, tight-knit group who have been together for a long time. We all have become attached to our patients who are part of the family and share a dedication to do our best for each person.

Too many dental offices now are corporate and money-driven — looking at patients as dollars instead of people. We offer a different experience: honest, personal dental care for a fair price.

Education and Experience

I grew up in Kenosha, Wisconsin and had a terrific dentist when I was young. I knew the profession was for me back when I was in fifth grade and that realization has not wavered.

I attended Marquette University in Milwaukee for my undergraduate degree. After moving to Minnesota, I obtained my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.

Following graduation from dental school, I practiced for several years before purchasing this practice — now called Padula Dental — in 1991.

Professional Affiliations and Continuing Education

As an active member of the American and Minnesota Dental Associations, I have access to numerous avenues to learn and keep current on the latest changes in dentistry. In addition to participating in study groups, I attend conventions and lectures, and read various journals. I also provide product evaluations for a dental manufacturer.

Much about dentistry has changed since I graduated from dental school. Research has led to a stronger understanding of oral health, along with innovations in technique, technology, and materials. By staying up to date with new options and emerging trends, I am able to incorporate the best into the practice and my patients’ care.

Beyond the Office

My family has lived in Plymouth, Minnesota, since 1991, and my wife Pam and I are pleased to have raised our two children here. They’re now grown: Scott lives and works in the area and Sara lives and works in Chicago.

Being with family and friends is my passion. Outside of those times, I golf whenever possible, tackle yard work, play tennis and pickleball, snowshoe, and walk the trails by my home.
